This project posed both creative and logistical challenges. We captured both models and real employees working in the Mercedes-Benz garage, adding another layer of complexity. Additionally, we shot in three different locations, both indoors and outdoors. I was involved in the entire process, from moodboard creation to production supervision. Collaborating with this diverse team of talent was immensely rewarding, and I gained valuable insights into organizing a highly efficient shooting day. Opting to delve into the realm of a young and relatively unknown artist at that time, I embarked on capturing the essence of Lil Peep, a multifaceted US-American rapper, model, and artist celebrated for his distinctive DIY-style across all facets of his craft. My objective was clear: infuse this newspaper with an authentic vibe that mirrored Lil Peep's unique artistic spirit. To achieve this, I meticulously curated illustrations of his tattoos, candid snapshots, and poignant quotes from his music. Adding a personal touch, I hand-lettered the entire newspaper, word for word, ensuring every element resonated with the genuine energy that defined Lil Peep's artistic universe. Crafting a comprehensive campaign encompassing a thoughtfully designed mailing and invitations for the public information days, the outreach extended to both potential students and their parents, bridging the generations seamlessly. The aim was not only to introduce the new facility but to create a connection that resonated with both students and their families, underscoring the school's commitment to innovative and inclusive education.In a playful nod to the joy of learning, the mailing included a balloon in the school's corporate accent color, vibrant yellow. Printed on the balloon was a whimsical depiction of a brain, symbolizing the acquisition of knowledge. Central to their identity was the cherished claim, "Farbe in ihr Herz" (color into your heart), a sentiment they wished to preserve. In response, I ingeniously integrated this evocative motto into a painted heart, serving as a powerful emblem of their artisanal skill. Confronted with the challenge of selecting colors for a client immersed in every conceivable hue, I adopted a strategic approach. Opting for five foundational colors, I artfully blended and harmonized them to produce an array of gradients.
